Welcome to the official web site of Mexican actress, director and educator Zaide Silvia Gutiérrez.
Zaide is under exclusive contract to Televisa Mexico. When not active in televison productions she also teaches at the Televisa School of Acting in Mexico City.
She also teaches one class a week at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, (UNAM) and gives private classes.
Zaide appears in a new Televisa HD mini-series airing in Mexico starting January 10, 2010

Gregory Nava's film El Norte was screened at five international film festivals including Cannes, winning 5 awards for Best Movie and was nominated for an Oscar in 1984. In 1995 El Norte was inducted into the American Library of Congress' National Film Registry as an ‘American Classic’.
Arturo Ripstein's El Imperio de la Fortuna is considered one of his best and one of the top 10 Mexican films.
