Zaide's TV career began at the age of eleven when she first appeared in a series of Tele-Theatre productions, (famous plays adapted for TV) and continued with “Teatro en Atril” (Staged Readings).

Since graduating from the University of Mexico in 1987 she has pursued acting as her single profession. She has appeared in 18 Mexican Tele-Novelas, the U.S. PBS mini-series "American Family", several independent series, (acting and directing), Latin American TV commercial campaigns and has worked as a dubbing artist on various U.S. and U. K. TV productions presented in Mexico.

Zaide is currently under exclusive contract to Televisa Mexico.
